October 23rd, 2016 was a tragic day in Georgia. Eleven people in the state lost their lives due to home fires in a 24- hour period. For the close-knit mountain town of Trion, this tragedy hit particularly hard. A young family of six perished. With the help of the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign and the Trion Fire Department, the community is taking steps to heal and make their homes safer.
